CHILDREN’S CHARITY FUNDRAISING ONE WASH AT A TIME.

Our Goodwash team were approached by Richard Burrows earlier this year and were inspired by his genuine passion for local children’s charity ‘Splice’ based in Pyle, near Bridgend.

The purpose of ‘Good Wash’ is to help support those in need, and enable people in their communities and animals in their environment to improve their lives for the better. Our wash products are a mechanism for raising funds, to achieve this end.

We believe everyone can make simple and easy purchasing decisions, without having to compromise on quality or indulgence, that will help to change the things that are going wrong in the world. By purchasing any product on our website using coupon code ‘GWBurrows19’ you will direct all profits of sale to the charity and receive 10% off your order.

Splice Child and Family is a small charity based in Bridgend https://www.spliceproject.co.uk/ They offer a safe environment for small children and families that could really do with a helping hand or advice.

Richard said ‘I remember back to last year when my wife and I took our 2-year old daughter there because we were passing and aware they had a small children’s play area. I was blown away by the commitment of the volunteers and staff on site and fascinated to learn more about how they genuinely help people in need.

Richard from Bridgend in South Wales says his next 10 months will consist of a series of challenges. the main and focus challenge being a 9 day trek of The Great Wall of China in May, then there will be the Welsh and British 3 peaks in the summer then an Ironman event in October. I am sure that there will also be some local challenges across Brecon mountain range for others to really get involved with.

Splice child and family manager Elaine Davis says “We are thrilled that Richard Burrows has chosen to support and raise funds for Splice Child and Family Project this year, as he embarks on his 9 Day Trek along the Great Wall of China, and his challenges closer to home, conquering the Welsh and UK Three Peaks challenge.

Elaine continues’ ‘We would like to say a big thank you to Goodwash Company for their support to Richard and ourselves. We greatly appreciate their help and hope the local community will get involved and have a good wash to support. It means so much to our families and their children and that Richard is giving up his time to support them. ‘

Tracy Morgan child and family organiser added ‘The funds raised will have a huge impact for everyone who attend Splice, and will enable the Splice project to continue helping families who use Splice as a Lifeline in their day to day lives.

We all wish Richard the best of luck on his endeavours. Keep Safe, Strong and Well,
