Over £1000 raised to help provide over 12 Safe Nights for homeless young people in Wales
To help young people facing homelessness this Winter we launched a Goodwash Safe Nights campaign in collaboration with Llamau on World Homeless Day (10th October)
Over a two month period, we donated all sales profits (using code #GWsafenights) of our ethical wash products to Llamau. We are very excited to announce that the campaign has raised over £1000 and allows Llamau to support and provide safe nights for young people like Rhys
We would like to say a huge THANK YOU / DIOLCH YN FAWR to everyone who supported the campaign. Whether you bought products directly from The Goodwash Company website or visited the Christmas Goodwash market stall, or even purchased indirectly from local stockists Canna Deli, Viva Organic, Whitmore and Jackson or Annie and Lolo’s – EVERY single purchase made a real difference.
Huge thanks also to the local businesses which supported the campaign, including Anwyl Construction and Loft & Co for purchasing corporate gift boxes and products, Legal & General and Capital Law for inviting us to their Christmas Fayre and the fabulous Sausage Revolution and award winning Hang Fire Smokehouse for using our Sebon Dwylo in their restaurant wash rooms.
Thank you so much to the USW Advertising department of University of South Wales, in particular students Megan, Lewis and Josh, who designed the creative concept and campaign materials for Safe Nights, and course leaders Lee and Liz for their support throughout.

One of the main reasons we started Goodwash was to challenge all of us to think about where we buy our every day goods and services from – and the impact each decision makes. By running this ‘flash’ campaign with Llamau we have been able to show our customers that by choosing to buy from a social enterprise like us they have contributed to having a positive effect on the world.
By choosing to have a ‘goodwash’ each day they have helped change the lives of young homeless people – that’s pretty special – especially as you can never under estimate how something so small can make a big difference.
