Matcha, a finely ground powder of specifically grown and processed green tea leaves, has been used for the skin for centuries in Asia, and is now a popular ingredient in modern skincare products.

This wonderful powder treats inflammation, reducing the redness that comes with irritating skin conditions such as acne. Matcha is suitable for all skin types, and is a gentle, natural exfoliant, perfect for sensitive and dry skin. One of its best features is its ability to stimulate elastin product, adding volume and vitality into the skin, giving it wonderful anti-aging properties.

The star of the show in this face mask is the volcano formed Bentonite clay. Composed of the ash made from volcanos, Bentonite clay works miracles for your skin on a molecular level. The clay has the ability to produce an electrical charge when it comes in contact with a liquid, and binds to toxins. This binding reaction allows toxins from everyday life to be drawn from the skin, leaving it looking, and feeling, healthier.

When combined with activated charcoal, this mask leaves the skin free of pore clogging oils and toxins. Its gentle formula is kind on sensitive and damaged skin, and the easy recipe makes it the perfect mask for time poor individuals.
