Make Your Own FESTIVE BATH MELT

Winter weather, relentless relatives- the festive season can test the best of us. Our DIY festive bath melt will leave you feeling refreshed, radiant and re-energised.

Our Festive bath melt is made with a carefully selected blend of festive essential oils. It works together to ease tension, lift your mood and to help relieve and prevent nasty colds leaving you to enjoy the Christmas season.

This festive bath melt contains healing natural ingredients. Cedarwood is known for its expectorant abilities. Teaming up with pine oil and star anise oil, this powerhouse of essential oils will help to ease the symptoms of those pesky chesty coughs. Pine oil, known for lifting your mood, combines with invigorating clove and sweet orange oil to leave you with high spirits after a wonderful soak.

For those stiff, tense muscles, star anise essential oil is a powerful anti-spasmodic that works to relax and ease muscles. Combining with the sedative effects of the sweet orange oil, these festive bath melts are a powerful tool to help revive and re-energise you. FESTIVE BATH MELT RECIPE

½ cup cocoa butter
½ cup shea butter
4 drops cedarwood essential oil
3 drops sweet orange essential oil
3 drops star anise essential oil
3 drops clove essential oil
2 drops pine essential oil

First of all, in a small glass bowl, add the cocoa butter and shea butter. Then, place the bowl in a saucepan with an inch of water and bring to a simmer. Watching carefully, allow the butter to gently melt. As the butters melt together, gently stir in the essential oils.

Slowly pour the liquid into a silicone mould or ice cube tray. Place in the fridge so as to speed up the hardening process. Finally, once solid, pop out the melts. Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dark location for up to two months.

Run a warm bath and drop a melt into the warm water. Sit back and relax in a soothing and rejuvenating soak, letting the essential oils work their magic.
